Don’t Believe Yourself

Thoughts are just thoughts. But we mostly hold onto whatever pops in our brains about something as a summation of our vast and valid knowledge and experience *cough -entitlement- cough*. “I think that..” “I feel like…” and then we run blindly down paths in our work and lives with our fingers in our ears yelling “me me me!” The point of thinking is an outcome and outcomes can be proven. Your feelings about a situation -“I REALLY think” “I NEED this idea to work” “I really LIKE this idea” are valid emotions but separate from proof. We mess up when we use those emotions as proof instead of energy. You don’t have to have an opinion on or know everything, but if you do-prove it. #lessonsfromluthiery
