    The Mavis.

    When I went to carve the back for the second Mavis I thought that violin makers are the most badass carvers of things. There’s a science to it. Hundreds of years of accumulated knowledge. They use tiny little sharp tools you push with your hands. So I talked to my buddy @jacobyfineviolins and he carved one for me, the design of which shall live eternally in all Mavis’ hence. Grateful Cooperative Labor.

      Gorgeousness beyond words. I wish I could have one of everything you craft. Mavis grabbed my heart immediately at NAMM when we met....I'm stunned even still. I am wholeheartedly thankful that I you crafted #669 Resonator in lieu of the Mavis. Blessings to those who get on the Mavis list and receive this masterpiece!!
