“Can I play it acoustic?” That was the number one question three years ago when after a week of manic building and some encouragement by @prideofgypsies the Mavis was born. I told people no… it’s a solid body electric resonator guitar. But after 400 of them with the same amount of preconceived notions of what can be done with the Mavis I be learned to not tell people what to do. Anyone I talk to about it usually adds, “and I mostly play it acoustically. It’s loud enough but not too loud to annoy my family. “ Unknown niche filled.
